Class One Learning WC/ 23rd September

More amazing work to commence another week of fun and learning!

KS1 have almost come to an end with their place value topic in Maths, whilst Reception have been working on matching objects! In English we have been writing lists and getting ready to work on writing list poems and calligram poems!
We have been using timelines in History to organise and order artefacts we would find in different homes in different decades, while Reception have been learning about people who help us!

In computing, KS1 have been doing some digital art, learning what different tools they can use, while Reception explored sound buttons and recording their voices and secret messages for each other!

Jigsaw Jack came out to help KS1 understand about responsibilities and how they belong as part of their class, while Reception had Jigsaw Jenie helping with recognising different emotions!

Miss. Hall also shared some pictures of a very famous bear she met at the weekend that you might recognise, and brought in a present for Class One... Numberblock One!

Our Class Dojo total for this week is up to 158 dojo's! The children were all very excited to see their monsters hatch from their eggs this week too!

To Note:
We have had a few children saying their are feeling the cold when doing PE in shorts; it might be worth a conversation with your child to see if they need a pair of joggers in their PE kit as we get into those cooler Autumn days!

Have a fabulous weekend and we will see you all on Monday morning!

Miss. Gregory 😊
