Meet 6 of our new Reading Mentors! 
We are very excited to have such an enthusiastic and dedicated group of children to lead reading for pleasure in our school.
The children have lots of ideas for ways in which they can encourage and support reading for pleasure in our school. These include: introducing a lunchtime book club so that children have the opportunity to share books they enjoy with each other; setting up weekly recommended reads; and developing the reading areas in school
The children are also going to be speaking to the rest of the children in the school to discover what types of books they would like us to have in school (that we don't already have), and so one of their initial important jobs will be to purchase some new books for all of our children to share.
