What a busy week! Our week started with the first JAM club of the term where we learnt about the story of Jonah and made some impressive whales from unusual things! We have then been learning about Black History Month through our Art week where we have thought about the experiences of children who came to the UK on the Empire Windrush and studied the work of Black artists Sir Frank Bowling and Denzil Forrester. We have enjoyed developing our art skills and creating wonderful final pieces. We have then ended our week with a Caribbean celebration, preparing, cooking and tasting typical Caribbean food and fruits.
