Week Ending 25th September

In our history topic, Key Stage 1 have been exploring how our homes have changed over the last century. We enjoyed sharing this learning with our families and completing a questionnaire about what their homes were like when they were growing up. It was fascinating to compare similarities and differences between then and now.

In Key Stage 2, we have been studying the Stone Age to the Iron Age. We were able to show the younger children what homes were like even further back in time. We also made our own Stone Age houses, which was great fun!

We all worked together on Friday using our observation skills to create pieces of harvest artwork.  Key Stage 1 used pastels and Key Stage 2 used watercolours.  We all tried hard to look carefully at shapes and blend colours to create lifelike pictures.
