Yesterday was an exciting day for the children at North Stainley School. The day began with a Book Look / Stay and Play, where the children proudly shared their brilliant work with their parents. It was a lovely opportunity for families to see just how much effort and creativity the pupils have been putting into their learning.
Next came circus skills. The children had a fabulous instructor who taught them how to juggle, use the flower sticks, and spin plates. There was laughter, concentration, and plenty of impressive new talents on display.
Just when the day couldn’t get any better, visitors arrived with a whole range of animals, including bunnies, lizards, snakes, guinea pigs, ferrets, hedgehogs, and many more. The children were fascinated and loved learning about each creature up close.
This wasn’t just a fun day; it was also a Pupil Voice Day. The focus was on working together in the teams the children have created, empowering everyone to make a difference in the school community. This work will continue throughout the year, with even more exciting opportunities for the groups to come together and lead positive change.
