Class One Learning WC/ 19th May
Our last week of this half term has been busy as always with lots of learning, fun and activities!
Reception have been looking at numbers beyond 10 in maths, learning to read longer words in phonics, they have read all about a Nan on a Hopper in reading and in Topic they have been investigating the needs of plants and applied this knowledge to planting and observing their own beans!
KS1 have finished off acrostic poems today having learnt about proper nouns and alliteration in English, in Maths we have been continuing our knowledge of fractions and how they link to our times tables! In RE we have continued to learn about Who made the World and how we can look after God's creations, and PSHE has had us focus on healthy choices this week.
As always, we finished the week off on the Rec in the sunshine doing PE with Mr.V!
That was a very short but heavily packed half term! Next half term has lots of exciting things planned including a school trip!
Have a wonderful, restful week off!
