Class One Learning WC/ 19th February
We have been learning lots this week in Class One!
In Geography we have been learning about our 4 Nations, trying scottish tablet, discussing national flowers and animals as well as designing a new flag for the United Kingdom!
In snack and chat we took the children back to the 90's to see if they recognised anything that Miss. Gregory, Miss. Hall, Miss.Hemmingway or Miss. Hales played with as little girls, and talked about toys from the past and how they have changed!
Typing club caught the attention of some of our Class One children who attended and had great fun with our brand new chromebooks, meeting Mr. Goat on dancemat typing!
In science, we have been learning about Humans in our topic, and this week found us looking at what makes us healthy! We designed a healthy lunch after looking at the different food groups, and discussed junk food, drinking water, sleep and exercise and how these all contrinbute to a healthy lifestyle!
EYFS even made their very own straw rockets that they could make fly by themselves- what a fun activity!
Even in wet play you can see how the girls from all classes come together for some hairdressing!
