Class One Learning WC/ 16th September

Another great week has finished here in Class One with so much learning complete!

We have been refining our sentence structures in English ready to start and look at Poems next week! In Maths we continue to work through the small steps of place value, while EYFS are working on sorting, matching and grouping! In History we looked at all the reponses to our questions and discussed what we had learnt form our findings! In French EYFS are learning nursery rhymes while KS1 focus on colours! In PSHE the children were introduced to new friends; Jigsaw Jack and Jigsaw Jenie! We did Calm Me time using the chime and read letters our Jigsaw friends brought for us! In PE we have been doing ball skills and evading opponents through playing some cone agility and a game called Dragon's Lair! Miss. Hall also brought in a bubble blower that went down a treat! We had lots of exciting things to see nad learn about in Show and Tell too!

The children have been working really hard to collect dojo's this week too! Our class total for this week stands at 76 dojo's! They are very excited to see their eggs hatch and see what their monsters look like!

Lots of pictures of learning happening this week below; all children have had a book change, all have brought home their new homework books (which will vary between a writing task and a maths task each week) and Year One and Two have also brought home their spelling books to practise for spelling tests next Friday.

Have a great weekend,

Miss. Gregory blush
