Class One Learning WC/9th June This week has been lots of fun with the sun! KS1 have been continuing their biography unit in English, understanding third person and chronological order! In Maths we have come to the end of our Fractions unit, so the children are excited to start their time unit next week! In RE we started a new unit all about caring for the world and others, we listened to a song called "You are a star" and the children absolutely love it! In maths they have been working on addition and subtraction within 20, and in topic they have been learning how life was different in the past... ready to look at paleontology and dinosaurs next week! We had a lovely afternoon on Thursday as Class 2 came in to share their stories they have written based on Charlie and the Chocolate factory! We finished off the week with Sports Day practise in the playground enjoying some sunshine and fun activities! Reminder: Sport's Day is NEXT FRIDAY (20th June 2025)
