Class One Learning WB 17th November

Anther busy week here in Class One with lots of fun and learning!

In Maths KS1 have completed their Addition and Subtraction within 20 topic, ready to start Place Value within 100 next! We have continued our Science learning about animals and humans looking at how the bodies are designed to aid them in their habitats- the children thoroughly enjoyed our activity drawing round each other and labelling the body parts! In Spelling Year Two have started to look at spelling rules with this week investigating when we should double letters for a long or short vowel sound!

Reception have finished their learning about 1,2,3,4 and 5 and have started looking in depth at 4 sided shapes and how to group and categorise them! In Phonics we have continued learning lots of new digraphs including sh, th, ng and nk this week!

Next week is art week with lots of exciting printing planned so have a lovely restful weekend!
