This half term we have been exploring the question "How does our local landscape in North Yorkshire shape the way people live work and travel." The children have been using their knowledge of maps from the Autumn term to interpret various maps of Yorkshire and our local area. This week the children continued their enquiries by thinking about the natural resources we have in the immediate locality which then lead to us thinking about Tourism and debating if Tourism was a good or bad thing. The children engaged fully in the debate and really got stuck into arguing their points of view!
Remember if you have any photographs of visits to places around Yorkshire we would love to pop them on our display in school! We will return them at half term. Or equally if you would like to send a digital copy to the office we can print them in school.
