We had a fantastic day on Tuesday! We started by enjoying our Book Look session with many of our families. Thank you to everyone who was able to come in and look at the children's hard work! If you were unable to come on that day, please do email and book in for another time! The pupils really enjoying sharing their learning.

We then launched into our Pupil voice Launch Day. This was a day of celebration and fun, giving the children opportunity to work in the colour groups that they created together last term, wearing their team colours and supporting one and other!

We started with an amazing circus skills workshop. Demitri, our workshop guide, began with a show; including juggling, clown tricks and unicycling. It was then time for us to try out our skills. We had a go at many different skills during the morning! We heard the words "This is the best day ever!" many times during the session! We were really impressed by how resilient the children were in trying out the skills and how supportive they were to each other!

Please have a look through the pictures to see our skills in action!

The fun then continued in the afternoon when we had some animal visitors!

We met:

Peaches - a crested Gecko, who had lost her tail.

Shelia and Mick - bearded dragons.

Noodle the corn snake.

Clio the royal python.

Val and Victor - Two amazing Lizards. See if you can spot Val's blue tongue.

Mrs T and Speedy - two beautiful Tortoise, who were quite different in size.

Biscuit and Pippa - Rabbits

As well as guinea pigs, a chinchilla, a hedgehog and a rather smelly ferret.

The children were brilliant in this session: waiting their turn, being gentle and calm with all the beautiful creatures, and asking really great questions. We were very proud of everyone.

Please take a look through these pictures to see which animals you can spot.
