Art Week What an exciting week we have had doing all things printing! The week started off looking at what Pop Art is, and who Andy Warhol was. From here we then did our own research about Andy Warhol to get a real understanding of how his life lead him to be a world famous Pop Art Artist using printing! We then looking at some different kinds of prints and how they were printed- relief printing, screen printing and intaglio printing! This then lead into exploring and discuss

A fantastic £52.10 raised for Children in Need!
We had a wonderful day on Thursday raising money for Children in Need. Thank you for your generous donations. The children all came to school dressed in their sporty clothes (some spotty and sporty!) and we challenged ourselves to run laps to keep fit. We all enjoyed a refreshing ice-cream when the van came to see us and we tracked Sara Cox and her marathon challenge of getting Pudsey to Pudsey! We also took part in Pudsey's 25 question trivia quiz and our winners were Beatri

A week to reflect
This week has given us all opportunity to pause and reflect. On Monday many of us wore our odd socks to symbolize the beginning of anti-bullying week and through collective worship and PSHE we thought about being a positive power in the fight against bullying. On Tuesday we paused to reflect at 11am and remembered those who have given the ultimate sacrifice in protecting our freedoms. The children showed great respect during the remembrance silence and in our conversations ab

We are also asking for an additional £1 donation to come to school in sporty (not spotty!) non-uniform clothes. The

The poem 'For the Fallen' was read allowed, and we finished w
